How do the phone calls work?

Why are video's important?
Video coaching is without any doubt one of the best ways to learn and grow because you not only get the eyes of a professional to see what is happening, you get to see with your own eyes and make visible distinct changes in your communication with your horses. Example "After viewing my video I noticed how much I lean forward while riding!" "I can see that I'm using my stick too much".

What if I can't do a video?
No problem. Video coaching is very powerful, we encourage it, but we do not require it. We are flexible and adapt to fit all situations.

What do you want to see in the video's?
We want to see progress and what is holding you back from progress. This is not an assessment but a coaching tool. We do not need perfection in fact we enjoy seeing trial and error. We simply find the most benefit in watching your practice. We also believe when you watch your own videos you'll see many things that you may want to change and many that may surprise you, how well your horse is doing.

Note: In each phone call we may also discuss possible subject to video for next time related to your progress.

When do I send the video's to you?
We prefer at least one week prior to our scheduled phone call each month. For Silver and Gold Success Pathways® Students you are welcome to send 2 a month or 1 longer one each month.

Note: Please keep videos to 15 minutes or less, unless you are a Gold Success Pathways® Student.

How do I make and send videos?
Making a video is quite simple compared to an assessment. Remember we simply find the most benefit from watching your practice. By putting your camera on a tripod and simply pushing record or borrowing a friends time to film your practice. You'll receive valuable footage for viewing. Most people have the ability to download the video to their computer and then make a disc or download to a website like youtube. We accept DVD, CD, VHS, youtube or other internet files.

I'm having trouble uploading to a website, Any tips?
If the files are too big you can reduce their size by splitting them into three files

Camera Video Tips:
* Use a tripod when videoing
* Once your set up on the tripod with the camera on, look through the lens and work out how much the camera can see from the tripod.
*Mark the area with cones or makers so you know where you have to be to get on tape without leaving camera visual range.
*Double check once the markers are set up: Check again that you can see the markers through the camera and you are set to go.
* Push record and start playing with your horse. It does not have to be exactly 15 minutes long as you may just continue to play and edit the tape later or move to another area to cover a different subject.

Horses?
Do I have to have just one horse or can I do this program with multiple horses?
Lots of people have lots of horses.  We want you to pick one horse to go through this program with.  Of course the more you learn you will be able to transfer to many different horses.  If questions arise about your other horses, we want to address them with any extra time we may have in our phone calls.

What if my horse goes lame or has a problem?
You can of course change horses if there are any issues.

What if I want to upgrade during my year to Silver or Gold?
You are welcome to upgrade at any time.  Please notify us before you upgrade on-line.

Why is there no pricing on the webpage?
The reason we do not put out our pricing is this program is not like any other program, it is a unique individualized program. We will guide you through the process and make sure you get the right program for you and your needs. Please phone us to get more detailed information.
